phh!... thats funny, how the hell did you smash it? that thing is hard plastic.
Anyways it's no real biggie, you'll run a bit richer, you need to plug the vacuum ports that the AJC lines connected to.

yep, well the reason i need to know is because im in the middle of a tranny swap and some how i smashed it all to hell. so i need to know if i can eliminate it by removing the vacume lines like in the how-to. or do i have to replace it
well actually i went to the car with hammer because it pissed me off
your loss i woulda bought it off of you...=\
I've got an extra laying around that you can buy from me. I'll give you a good deal.
No projects. Life consumes my time and money.
You're EFI, you don't need the AJCOriginally Posted by 86LXi|JustONE
Or do you have a DX LX? I don't understand?

Um... does the AJC have to be mounted stable and horizontal? I want to use its mounting bracket to move my coil closer to the dizzy so that my crane wire reaches. Can I just angle it away into the black box area? Or if I mount it vertical on the firewall, would it still function correct?
well mine's is mounted in a angle don't know why.
but it function's fine with me.
i would remove it anyway, the car seem's to be a little more responsive without it.![]()
