Trim under the front honda emblem

For those who painted this black, what did you use? I want to paint mine black too since it's rather annoying seeing the chrome =\

    I've done it.
First I removed and then sanded sown the emblems. Not too much, just enough to rough up the surface.
Then I used Krylon outdoor primer/paint. 3 light layers of each. I let them dry a few days then gave them a good coat of wax and slapped them back on. Its been like that for 6 months and has yet to chip or peel.
Let me see if I can find a pic.

I'd suggest Tryin to find the trim from a hatch, it's already black.

    Here,

I got of my ass, threw on some pants and snapped a pic. Happy?
Its pretty bright out there so it did not come out too great.

    HostileJava,
I don't see the point in getting new emblems. I spent $6 and used verry little paint, it looks good too.
I even painted the grille and the plastic on the popups while I was at it.

He's not asking about emblems he's asking about the grill trim. Read the Topic.

lol either way, kroy was helpful. Thanks. Did you sand down the chrome trim also? What grit did you use if you did?

Thanks for the tip hostilejava. I'll go look for a hatch to get it off. Is there any specifics on this? Does it fit fine? and which hatchbacks, funnny how I never noticed they don't have it in chrome.
