    Headlight conversion

Ok I have an 86 accord LX-i hatchback. My buddy in out car club has a 90 civic DX. He just bought a 90 Civic SI, and he is going to take a lot of the parts off of his DX and put them on his Si. I was looking into doing a conversion and try to put his headlights on my car. I have taken measurements, and the only thing I really need to modify is the top bracket holding the front of the radiator. I just need to move it down about 3 inches so that it is below the bumper line. I was going to get the headlight bracket assembly with them so I just had to weld them in and take mine out. I will take some pictures soon and post them on here because I already traced out where I need to cut on the body with a sharpie. Then I want to put new Xenon blue bulbs in it. I want the ones that look blue. My dad had a set on his 95 ford tbird and i really liked them. What do you guys think about how it would look? I just want to do the headlights themselves, not the corner markers too.

Damn, Why would anybody want the station headlights, when the pop-ups are way better. I LOVE my headlights when they are down, car looks very clean and cool. I think that it will make the car look like civic after you will do it. Civic-bad, Accord-good. Just my opinion

I agree that they look good when they are down. I just hate what they look like when they are up. Plus i cant find anything that I can get the blue bulbs for sealed beam lights

    i don't know i'm not a fan of pop-up's
plus i think it cost a lot more than regular light's, so it's that simple, i think i'll be intrested in it too.

i'd say go for doing the civic headlights on your 3gee. yeah, i know most of y'all dont like the idea, but hey, it might look really cool. anyways, as for the blue xenon bulbs, those are not really funtional as night time driving lights. they are good for show use, but none ive ever had worked well. i do have headlights that are slightly blue tinted, but they are pretty good. or you can go with the H4 conversion headlights like me and many other of the members have. those are great, mine dont leak because i sealed them with gasket maker.
Keep it HONDA. Or at least Asian.™
