    webers on old cars...

this is an oddball question... i wanna know what cars came with a weber DGV 32/36, or even a 38/38... i figure it would be cheaper to buy a used carb and rebuild and re-jet and get the adapter plates and all than it would be to get the whole kit... i mean, if these carbs are abundant in junkyards as stock parts, it may be a good option for someone dirt poor like me that needs a new carb... this is goin on an auto, but i believe i'll be able to make it work well with some sort of TV cable or linkage mod...

    thanks for the help, guys

    Check for european cars...
Some cars like the beetle and the Triumph? had weber conversions for them and are probably common.
