Ebay Mufflers

has anyone tried the $25 ebay mufflers. I have a cherry bomb but want to change.

i got my muffler basically off ebay... same deal, and it sounds fine. if i had 2.5" exahust it would sound better than the 2.25 i have now, but its better than most cars i hear ricing up the streets.

i got one from ebay, look at pics on my web page. it's just like anyother. it sounds just like anyother other muffler. my frens lxi 3g is equiped with an APC muffler and my actually has a nicer lower tone. his is more like a weedwhacker. i used to have a silencer on it, but took it off. OH YAH trust me it gets loud. and you get your money's worth. It's just the name that makes it expensive. they're basically the same. oh btw, it's 25 dollars but the shipping and handling is like anther 25 so it turns out to be 50. that's how ebay makes money. some items cost 1 (buy it now) but shipping is 50. i say save your self the money. pple can't tell if it's a brandname anyways. those can run up to like 150-200 bucks compared to 50. and bobafett is rite. I've heard alot of civics and jetta's, they don't even sound as good as my cheap ass muffler. you can even buy a carbonfiber one on there for pretty cheap...i don't know if it's real c/f though

The general consensus is that APC sucks. Many who have had their products can vouch for that. And then there are those who swear by their products...

well wateva, my point is they all sound the same, it depends on the size of the outlet of the muffler. mines 3.5. soo why spend double or triple for the same thing? it's just a muffler. if youre talking the whole exhaust system, then that's another story. fart cans are fart cans. oh! that reminds me, i gotta take a dump
