my friend is sellin the engine out of his crx.Its a B16a2 for 200 bucks,but it needs a new camshaft,camrods,and rod bearings.so is it worth that much,and can it work with my automatic until i get my 5 speed swap done?

you have LX which is carb, you will have to convert to EFI first to use B16 motor.

Neither the automatic nor the manual 3g tranny will bolt up to a b16a2. Plus you need the place racing mount kit to fit a b-series engine into a 3g. Read up in the FAQ and then engine swap section for more information on what you need and what will work.
