Found this rebuilt car for $4k, is it worth it?

My first impression though, is that there could be more pics. But a "new" engine and tranny plus some mods for 4k?....

I don't know, I smell something fishy though. Not enough photos with no real close-ups. When I ask for more pictures, he acts like a retard:

"Hello, Do you have more, higher resolution pictures of the car?"

- "Do they look blocky or fuzzy to you? I took them with a Canon high resolution camera, so they should be pretty clear. I assumed they were because they look great on my HP computer."

If he can build his own car, he sure as hell can see that his pics are not top quality compared to other auctions.

My dad is selling his 93 Prelude Si for 4400. 102k miles, auto, moonroof, power everything. Runs good.

well, i wouldn't buy it. the guy contradics himself by saying "But everything that normally wears out on a Prelude has been fixed or replaced." and then "It needs and O2 sensor. Still passes inspection and runs good, but the check engine light comes on. Has some light dings on it, but very normal for a 12 year old car. There is a crack in the windshield, but still passes inspection. Cruise is disconnected, but still works. CD player works but isnt the greatest. " plus its been wrecked before.

Thanks for the offer, but I'll try to find a manual trans car. I hate the thought of not being in control.
