center console

i went to the junkyard today everything is 50% off right now so it was like $1.75 so i picked up a center console with a tape holder thing. there were tons of 3geez and tons of center consoles, but only like 5 were stick with the console. i took a gray and black one, but my interior is brown, however i want to switch it to black, what kind of paint could i use to paint these parts???

krylon fusion...make sure u sand it down a litttle bit to smooth it out...

I like the VHT dye better than Krylon...you can VHT at jegs.com. I just got done restoring a grey armrest to blue...it matches almost perfectly.

No offense but sanding should not be an option. It would completely ruin the soft surface and in the long run make it look like shit.

i sanded mine and lost none of the smooth surface...its not intense sanding...just a lil bit of it and it holds better

I agree, light sanding even though not required is a good idea, you can use the VHT stuff, the Fusion, or just regulare auto vinyl die that can be found at any autoparts store.
