I fiberglassed my Mesh Grill into my Ground FX & fiberglassed on a smaller piece behind the stock grill that sits just above the bumper too.
heres my mesh grille. it was originally left bare. it was galvanized steel, so the color was like aluminium. then i finally painted a while back. havent made anything for the bottom grille. i found it easy to cut with tin snips. the stuff i used was from Home Depot, cost about $3 i think for a sheet about 7x4 feet.

Looking for K20/trans for ultimate swap
the one that Hondaboy did, I think I did the same thing. That bit comes apart and you just sandwich the mesh in there (thats what I did anyways) and for the bottom part I just zip tied some of that gutter topper mesh stuff in there, worked out nicely.
