    Resetting ECU after mods?

    ok on my 92 Sentra SE-R whenever i added mods i had to reset the ECU to get there full effects, how do i do this on our cars?

    the fuse is under the hood fuse box.
    i believe it is number #11 or #10.

    ok what exactly do i do with this fuse? as my method of reseting the ECU in my nissan dosent involve fuses.

    Go into the fuse box under the hood. Pull out the ecu and hazard fuses. Leave them out for 5 minutes. Put the fuses back in and start the car. Don't hit the gas or anything. Just let it idle. Let it go for about 15 minutes. You should be good to go after that.

    i would have to agree. i've done it too, and it didn't do jack. i dont think our cars are "smart" enough.

    unless the car is throwing a code it doesnt do anything. BTW all the codes ive ever gotten reset when the car was keyed off and on again...

    WEll i have to agree to a certain degree with you fellas abou the ECU resetting. All the efi does is just fuel injection for our cars, does not do traction or abs or diff control or other bs that the new cars come with. Dont even bother resetting the ECU for our 3g it basicaly does nothing, except when it throws a code and u want to give a fresh start so that it can recognize it has a sensor there that works, it does not need to be reset like mentioned above.
