Suspension Woes...

Well yesterday turned out to be a very $$$ day! I blew a front lower ball joint & it in turn took my new cv axle & bent a strut too in the process. Since I installed the cv axle myself, I guess I'm to blame. I might have stripped the nut for the ball nut I guess & it broke loose. Good news is it blew apart from just starting off from a traffic light....if it happened while I was driving to work this AM at 140 km/hr, I would be probably be dead now & the car written off. I'm getting her back this afternoon from the shop, as I had to get it towed there yesterday afternoon & parts won't be in until mid-morning.

Did the lower balljoint come apart or did the just come out of the lower control arm?

Actually I fucked it up myself.....I must have stripped the nut while putting it back together & it let loose.
