    Inline 3 cylinder Accord

Well the 3G had been acting up a lot lately and the power seemed to have just drained away... I was beginning to get discouraged because I couldn't seem to find the problem. Well... after a month at least of driving her this way, I finally noticed the busted up intake manifold gasket that was basically eroded away. Damn thing was sucking up so much air and it was making my 2nd or 3rd piston not fire. I don't think it did any damage to the valve because a new gasket seemed to give me a huge increase in power. I’m heading over to my uncles shop in Lafayette, La on Wed. and we are going to rebuild my carb again and jet it out in the process. I am also going to take advantage of the tools and strip down my dist. cap as well. I'll keep you all updated on the progress...

If you have any performance tips about jetting the carb please post them…

Buy a dash mount vacuum gauge. It'll really help in diagnosing problems like that.
