    Automatic Transmission

Can someone tell me what the hell is going on with my transmission? I had a trans put in a few weeks ago and now my car is not the same. Everytime the car sits for a few hours and I go to start it and put it in drive...my rpms goes to 2K-3K and my car barely moves. It will only do like 10-15mph. Now when I floor it, the trans shifts roughly and kicks in. When I am driving the car for like 5-10min...the trans shifts ok. What could be the problem? Is there something wrong with my trans or did the mechanic fuck something up in the installation. Please help, because I have been dealing with this for three weeks..and the mechanic is telling me everthing is fine. This situation only happens when the car is not driven for a few hours.

    holla,

Just an idea. What fluid did he put back into the transmission? And has it done this since you got it back?
