how much would it cost to paint my 1987 Accord LX. it is a champagne goldish color right now i want to re-paint it to Si blue or a bright blue color

There are a few good suggestions on what you can do to improve the quality of your paint job should you decide to have it done.

To answer your question though. A decent respray from Maaco should run no less than $500. This is not a lot considering you can spend upwards of $3000 easily for paint from other shops. Maaco is definitely one of the cheapest places to get the paint work done but good prep work done by yourself can make that $500 paint job look really good.

I would stay away from the $199 special they run at Maaco though because they paint they use will not hold up for more than a year.
