i recently picked a a 86 accord lx and this is the valve cover it came with the honda badge comes of with 2 philips head screws and the whole thing is in gold metal flake has any one seen this befor ???

doenst really look rare to me. Looks like the ordinary valve cover with paintjob on it.
That be a BS1 valve cover. I got me one of those so It can't be too rare.

no its not a paint job the guy i got the car from was the first owner of the car until i got it but i just thougtht it was kind of cool i just never seen that type befor but thanks for the info

Mine was the original gold color but it was flaking off and starting to rust a little so I painted it.

I have the exact same vavle cover on my '86 LX.
yep, I have the same valve cover on my car - it has the A16A1, It only came on the models with the earliest 3rd gens I suppose. Looks cool though!!
