coolant temp sensor

Does anyone know where the sensor is that controls the cooling fans??

it's at the base of the radiator on the passender side... the coolant sensor for the temp guage is either on the intake manifold or the thermostat housing... depending if you're LX/DX or LXI

Code 12 is EGR related.

It's probably cuased by a bad constant vacuum valve in the emissions control box. You can find more details about this problem in the EFI Tech section.
