hey i gotta q for ya ag bullet... whats the WIDEST we can sqeeze onto a stock 13" 86-87 steelie?

i have been told only 185.....
do you know if 205 and fit on a 15x6.5 and could 215 fit on either a 15x6.5 or 15x7?

i would like to get as wide of tires as possible, and i was thinking of some 15's with 205/55/15 or 215/50/15 if such a size exists... what say you/?

The widest 13 inch size I have seen is a 185/75R13/ Tall and skinny!

As for your size, 195/50R15, there is a lot to choose from the Falken ZE512 is a good tire at about $55 each. The ES100s are a great tire, but a bit soft so expect them to wear fast. BFG also has a new tire coming out this summer (the g-force I think) that promises to be a good tire as well. I know for sure a 205/50 will fit. I think with a 15 inch wheel that a 215 could work but that width seems to be a better fit when running an 18 (215/35R18), so my guess is that with a 15 inch wheel that the typical profiles would make the overall combo too tall for your car, especially if it is lowered.

So, those are my recommendations, let me know if you have any other questions and I will do my best to answer them for you.

So far i have had Falkens which were ok and i have the Nitto NT555's right now. Im happy with them and they are great for dry weather but not wet. And so far i have not found a tire that seems to last long i have had these for about 2 years (i think, maybe more) and put some where between 10,000-15,000 miles on them. Plus this was with my automatic transmission and they were babied so that was normal wear.

I am not a big fan of Nittos. I feel that their quality is lackluster compared to other tires that cost less. As for speed ratings. V is a higher rating than H. Both are "high performance" speed ratings. If I remember right H is good for 120 or so and V like 140. V compounds are typically softer, so you get better traction at the expense of faster tire wear.
