    rev counter problem

    i get up two 3000 revs its ok between 3 1/2 and 4000 the rev counter gose made all over the place then at 4 1/2 its ok again any one now whats rong with it

    get under your hood and check your distributor, and rev slightly when under hood, if it sounds like a small rock is kicking around in there then you need a new one. Also an ignitor, bad coil, bad cap/rotor could do this too.

    it also could be that the needle on the tach is just catching on the faceplate. Tear the console apart only if you find that your distributor and ignition coil are in ok shape. This wil probably be a cheaper fix than the distributor/ignition coil, but it's a bitch to get apart (or was in my 4g)
    1990 accord.

    thanks dudez im going to have a look later today ill let you no i no its not the coil iv put a new one on so its the dizzy or the clocks
