    88 Accord LX Carb question

Is this a double barreled carb? If so, how might I loosen the secondary barrel if it's frozen(not cold frozen...) shut?

in most cases you can't get enough vacuum to open up the secondary... if you are trying to open it by hand without first opening the primary barrel then you that's why it's stuck... if you accidentally tightened the throttle shaft nut too tight then it could be stuck that way too... other wise the secodary is vacuum operated... and not manifold vaccum either... it needs venturi vacuum... it aslo is blocked by the primary barrel to keep the venturi vacuum from opening the secondary too early.

Well, my car is hesitating around high speed high rpms, so I was thinking maybe they secondary is frozen shut. I checked the ECU and there were no blinks, so I'm thinking this might be the reason. How might I diagnose this?
