nope, asked a guy at the shop today for size comparisons for my lx and they wont fit. as far as the guy knew, we can go up to 17x7.5's on our cars. if I am wrong, someone show me or tell me so I can know

So,..........you want to buy wheels for your 3g

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    The facts.

    wheel bolt pattern: 4x100mm

Required offset: MINIMUM, NEVER LOWER 40mm*

*When do I have to have a offset higher than 40mm:
When you want to run 18" rims or when you want to run 215mm tread width on 16" rims

What tire size should I run:
If it's NOT listed, their's are reason.
The tire size's listed will NEVER rub, nor will any fender need to be rolled as long as the offset requirments are met.

    14" 195/60-14
    15" 195/55-15
15" 205/50-15 (195/50-15 not proper plus size, too short)
    16" 195/50-16 (a tad taller at +2.0%, 205/45-16 is a better choice)
16" 205/45-16 (205/40-16 not proper plus size, too short)
16" 215/45-16 (a tad taller +1.7%, requires that you have 45mm offset rims)
16" 205/40-16 (Technically not a proper plus size, but not off as much -1.9%
    17" 205/40-17 (215/40-17 a tad tall at +2.4% requires 45mm offset)
18" 215/35-18 (requires 45mm offset. NOTE: tire is 3.1% too tall)

What rims can I get on the cheap?
Any civic USDM civic or integra rim will fit. Newer civic's can come with 15" steelies. And 15" integra alloy's are a great choice.

A 225/40-18 on a 40mm offset will not be saved with fender rolling, it will rub. Remember we are dealing with at least a 7" wide rim to mount 215mm tread width, that extra rim width moves things close to area's that will rub. A 215/35-18 on 40mm offset with fender rolling is extreamly debateable, going by problems experienced over several years by a number of members.

Best bet is to not get yourself into the trouble and not fall for those to good to be true deals. Yes, I know it hurts to pass on a good deal, but it's no deal if you rub.

no, rolling the fender means to bend the metal lip there on the actual fender itself inward and up out of the way without cutting

They should have listed 205-45-16 sized tires. Thats what I am on right now and they're like one percent larger than stock, it's the best upgrade size imo.

If it's such a good deal then why not just buy them and if they dont fit just sell them to someone else...
