    Hey John,
That's a replacement boot that was damn near identical to the stock one. Got it off ebay, too! The boot that came with the car (stock) was cracked and torn in a bunch of places. A word of advice on the shift knob: try your best to get one that screws onto the threads on the stick. My current knob has 3 set screws near the bottom, and they come loose like every 5 miles. I used to have one that screwed on, until the body shop I had the car at lifted it. (lame) They paid me back, though.

Sabz, I hate you for having that gorgeous shift knob. You are an electronics mod genius for thinking that up.

The whole thing is gunmetal, no weird effects like the picture shows...

    Talking

    Here's my chrome skull.

    Lit up

And for the heck of it, my 3A Racing pedals

Both the pedals and the shifter came with the car.

I also recently de-stickered it, but I need to scrub the residue off. Pics when it's light out.

I have 96 spec JDM ITR titanium gearknob.

Looks and feels great. I have just used a cable tie to hold the shift boot to the gear stick.

    Will post pics ASAP.

BTW, my car is a mess right now, because I was driving to school this morning, and I had just finished my pop-tarts and the baggy was full of crumbs. The wind picked the baggy up and dumped it out on my dashboard and console and then proceeded to throw it out the window. Bastards.
yeah I have this same knob but it wont stay tight and gets loose.

so i'm probably gonna go back to stock

Funny thing about that, nate, mine didn't stay tight either. It has those set screws on it. They came loose while I was driving to my SENIOR PROM last weekend and I was screwing it back down when all of a sudden the light goes out, and I start to smell burning plastic. Turns out I screwed the thing in to its own wiring and shorted my 12v accessory line to ground, which, mind you, also powers the stereo, lighter outlet, and the guage faces in my car. So while my friends had all rented or borrowed nice cars for prom night, here's me rollin around in a 15 year old honda that smells of burnt plastic, with no tunes, no clue how fast I'm going, and worst of all, NO RADAR DETECTOR!!!!

    ARRRRG!

Hey but on the bright side, they do make the kind that actually screw onto the stick in that style. You can get them off eBay.
