$231, plus taxes and feees, which added another $100. 164k, needed a pair of tires and battery. Now 6 weeks later, small probs keep popping up...
87 LXi hatch, $200 from eBay, just needed a clutch and headlight. It's gone now and I now have a 4G EX $1500 from eBay

£440, that's about $700 i think, for an aerodeck auto.
Only 75k on the clock, one owner and full Honda dealership servicing up till about a year ago. Bit rusty around the rear wheel arches but this car makes me smile whenever i drive it.

The only thing I had to do is replacing the timing belt (done).

$250$ 87 LXI w/225K mi. Have replaced the tires, alternator, and water pump. Needs axles, paint, front bumber, corner lights, pwr steering pump, a/c, new carpet, new seats, center console. Don't know what shape the tranny is in, but will do the 5sp swap. Have installed pioneer cd player, front component 6.5's. Soon to install fuzzy dice, shocks n springs, port & polish head, cam, skunk2 intake, cai, dc headers, 2.25 exhaust, denso iw20 plugs, magnecore wires, ...etc... my first custom car. you may ask why build on this car? well i like it, it doesn't burn or leak oil, its paid for (no car payment=more money for parts) that's the main one. and this forum has inspired me to see more in my accord. thanks

paid $400 and had to use the battery from my volvo and buy a tire other then that it sat for 6 mounths and started right up no prob and past smog with flying colors
my mother got it from the delership. $17,000(usd)after interest and all that crap w/ 12 miles on the odo. the car was the show car inside the showroom. she got it on memorial day and the car sellsman sold 5 hondas that day so he hooked her up with door trim but 17 years took its toll on the trim and i took them out and degressed the jams but you can tell the original color faded but hey its a honda paint job not a ferrari

$100.00 with 115k. '86 LX, 4 door auto. It has intermittent idling issues (sometimes too high, sometimes it stalls when I come to a stop), but it drives awesome and has plenty of pep (it runs a tad rich....I smell gas sometimes). It has very minor body blemishes/rust (see my garage). Could use a few things like an AC compressor mounting bolt, a new fuel filler tube, new seal around sunroof, new motor for rear driver window.
Came with a brand new exhaust, plugs, wires (Bosch, being replaced by NGK this weekend courtesy of a friend here in 3Geez), thermostat, tires.
Gettin soon: Complete tune-up/diagnostics/fuel system reworking by Honda mechanic, timing belt, dist. cap and rotor, all necessary bodywork for repainting, and two tone paint job (gunmetal gray metallic on top, black on bottom), summer wheels (I'll be checking jy's for Integra alloys), rear deck spoiler (hopefully Prelude or Integra factory spoiler).
89 LXi auto in "Laurel Blue"
$3800 at a dealership that accepted it for a trade in. They normally wouldn't have accepted a car this old but made an exception because of the great shape it is in and the low mileage. 94k on the speedo and the only thing that doesn't work/look like new is the electric antenna because it's kinked.
3 easy payments of 150$ and came with 4ws rims and seats
my '88 lx-i was $500!! had 92,000 on the clock. no rust, dents and the interior was/is totally mint! my a/c doesnt work.
i JUST turned 100k on it this week. i never had a foreign car before..this one is a freaking lifesaver! over 30mpg is very nice!! gas here in detroit is $3.00 a gallon............

My son paid $400 for his 86 lx been in storage since 2001 when his uncle left for Iraq new battery a piece of wire to short across the 70 amp fuse and poured gas down the carb for 30 minutes and we drove it 65 miles home and pulled the carb to rebuild now waiting to reinstall he's only 13 so he has a little while before he's licensed
