well I have finally found what may eventually be the perfect carb CAI setup...just need to find a small enough carb hat to fit under the hood...so what do you think so far?

    I'll move it...

BTW... it's not CAI until you get it out of the engine bay. That thing is still sucking in hot air from off the engine. Looks good though... better then a flipped lid.

well thats just an air cleaner that I had on my small block chevy that fit on the base...I will not be using that air cleaner, its wayyy to nice to be on my daily driver so I will be using the weber air intake from www.carbsunlimited.com because of its ultra low profile...and yes the carb is dirty but cleaning it will only cause more problems,I have never liked carb cleaner because all it does is push all the fuel deposits/dirt into the intake manifold where it clogs up even more,so I will just take it off and rebuild it(even though they never run right agian)or go weber, most likley weber

also I didnt really want this to be offical so thats why I didnt post it normally, until I find a suitable hat I will not be finished, but thanks for all the complements, makes me want to finish it so much more...and I will be selling kits for this soon so keep an eye on marketplace

wprocom, why not just use the EFI cap and run your own piping with it?

I have to buy a battery relocater kit before I can do what I would like with my intake on the carb.
