do i need a camber kit for a 1.5" drop?

I am thinkin about getting the neuspeed 1.5" drop or the intrax 1.75" drop. Will i need a to change my camber...if so would some one tell me the easiest and cheapest way to do it? I have checked on the search and didnt find the answer to my question. Thanks for ay help you can give me.

Any change such as lowering will cause changes in the front end geometry, be it ever so slight. You don't necassarily HAVE to get a camber kit with an 1.5" drop but if you were to have the camber checked before and after you will more than likely see a difference. Easiest way to correct camber issuers is with prelude arms and a few washers. Do a search on prelude arms or look up the how to

that low of a drop wont make enough of a difference in your camber to adversly affect your tire wear. just make sure you have an alignment done so that your toe isnt out. incorrect toe settings will eat your tires faster then anything.

I ended up having between 1-2 degrees of camber with a 1.5 inch drop at all 4 wheels. The guy at the alignment shop said that camber wasn't as important was toe was for tire wear (obviously camber much more than a couple degrees will eat through tires quick). Anyhow, you should be fine.

even 1.5 or 1.75" drop can cause excessive tire wears. plus your car won't handle as good as with proper camber.
you can get prelude arms and they will correct the problem, but make sure you take the car to alignment shop anyway.

Yea like it took me about 10K for my fronts to get so bad the inside wall blew out on me, and that is with 2.25" drop. So you can do with camber kits for 1.5" drop but it will wear them faster then normal but not as fast in my case. My rears are still in really good shape, but the fronts get distroyed.

Camber cant be adjusted on a 3gee. I dropped mine 1.5 and I got inner tire wear. I got it aligned and the numbers for camber are not within range now. So get a camber kit or prelude arms. Save you money in the long run.

I have a 1" drop and I got 1.5 degree negative camber in the front from the alignment results. Dunno if I will get tire wear as I've driven maybe about 2k miles so far.

toe is more important in saving tires when compared to camber.

I'm working on that.....Setting up software is a real biatch! Last mod didn't work too well for discounts....almost took out my entire store! when I find a software mod thaty works though, I'll post a discount here on this forum. Roght now all discounts are down manually & depend on what I can do on some items.
