are they the same as ours cause who ever had my car be4 was a cheap ass and couldnt buyt smart cables and cut the stock harness out would a early 80s civic one work

The stereo wiring harness for Honda products changed after 86 for some cars and 88 for others... these would work:
86-03 Accord
88-95 Civic/CRX
86-01 Prelude
86-95 Legend
86-01 Integra
and various other newer vehicles you are less likely to find in junkyards.
Actually thats not correct, you can only use accord to 97, after that its a different plug, and i believe civic is only good to either 00 or 95... i think its 00 but not sure.Originally Posted by Moodybluesr
