    Question 88-89 Distributor on 86-87?

    Will a 88-89 EFI distributor work/fit on a 86-87 EFI(both tec)?

    if the engine that im putting into my car is an 86 efi engine that we are switching over to a carbed engine will i habe to switch out the distributor and if so how much will a new distributor cost

    some one on this forum must have the right dizzy that you need...post an add under the wanted section....a new one would cost like 300 bucks

    yea you can, but you have change top mounting braket.

    you can't put carb distributor on EFI, but you can doing the other way around.

    if you have tec car distributor you can use EFI cap and rotor. Hitachi is the only odd one in this family.
