I dont think its around 400 lbs because I lifted an A20A3 engine, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, block, oil pan, head, valve cover, and mounts and put it in my trunk by myself.

I would say around 400lbs. I can carry the short block but not with everying on it.

I can lift the long block with the manifolds and mounts quite easily. I must remind you people I am quite small only about 160 lbs and 5'6" tall. So therefore it doesn't weigh 400

So which block is more rigid, the B16A3, B20A or the A20A, or the B18A1

So if a B16 weighs 300 lbs., a larger engine with a cast iron block weighs less.

The A20 is most rigid of those listed. Next is the B20A as long as you mean the JDM engine that was stock in the 3g. The other B-series is next. The B16 and B18 are the same as far as rigidity.

I always thought the B18A1 and B16 were more rigid.

The B20A is from JDM Accords and Preludes IIRC, the B20Z is out of the CR-V. I highly doubt it weighs 400 lbs, the A20 doesn't even weigh that much if you ask me, I'm tearing one down in my garage and it sure as hell doesn't feel that heavy to move around.

not to be diggin this up, but that ad about the 3gee where it says 122 kilograms or whatever in german, is it me or is it really talking about the torque rating? yeah, it is.

I doubt it, I'm pretty sure that if you use the metric system, you measure torque as newton meters.
