wassup people i may have a sweet deal on a 5 speed tranny i know i read it somewhere but i cant find so please bear with me here it goes this cat i met today say he has a flip light honda in his yard dont know what year it is so i showed him where the motor #was on my car he went home and just called me and told me its a 5 speed and the motor # is a A20A1 thats the delima i have a A20A3 i know both are made in america but will the 5 speed fit on my automatic if so im getting a hell of a deal for the entire car which i would use some parts that will fit my 89 accord and the rest will be for sale

so the A1 is good to go on a A3 all i need is all the parts for the tranny and the ECU correct

dont need the ecu... you need the tranny, drivers side axle, rear tranny mount, flywheel, 5 speed started and bolts, pedals, clutch and clutch cable, flywheel bolts etc stuff like that... oh yea and the linkage/shifter. The only difference is that fi accords run smaller gear ratios than the carbed ones... but the parts fit

so if we put a FI tranny on our carbed motor, it will be a little quicker in terms of ratios being smaller??? or slower???
