    smoking problem

okay, im stuck between 2 ideas here. when i drive my accord on the highway, then get off at an exit, the thing wants to stall. then when i hit the gas or get back rolling again...it starts smoking badly. now this car didn't do this before i put the weber on it. but as i look back, the smoke seems to look blue.

have any of you dealt with this? any others have any ideas on what's wrong? i'm thinking it's either valve seals or the carb flooding after being on the highway. let me know what u all think.

blue smoke means you're burning oil which means either your valve guides are bad or you have a bad ring (rings) that are bad.

i dont know why theis would have happened after you changed carburators, but it could be just coincidence.

don't let it fool you, when my engine was flooded the smoke would apper a blueish-gray smoke.
it's a flooding problem check to see if your float glass is full of gas if it's too much it causes this to happen.

THe fuel level in the bowl should be at the proper level so that you get the proper fuel pressure to the jets. That level is controlled by the float.
