    need help with pgm-fi

    hey i what to know why a red light on the dash where the gauges are is always on its saids pgm-fi what is it? can any one help plz.

    There is a sticky for this. Here You can read a code to see a fault that was detected by your ECU.

    Under the hood there is a fuse/relay panel by the battery. You can remove the ECU fuse (I think #11) for about 20 seconds to reset the ECU. Next time you drive it if the light comes back you will need to troubleshoot the ect. Most of the times the sensor is bad.

    ok i tryed it and nothing happend the #11 fuse saids ECU/clock

    You can run the engine until the fan comes on and disconnect the sensor and you should read 200 to 400 ohms across the sensor. If it doesn't the sensor is bad. Or just change it and see if it fixes it.

    Look between the distributor and the valve cover. You should see a green connector next to a white connector. I beleive it is the white connector it has a yellow with a green stripe wire and a green with a white stripe wire in it.
