one, this isn't the o/t or racing stories area...

two, the cars with fuel injection have more power, but they are heavier... comes down to driver IMO

ahhah he didn't mean racing, he means over all, i hate how carbs act all weird in different weather, but it is fun to play around with, but all in all, i'd go with an lxi coupe or hatch, light and puts out more horses.

I loved the fact that in the age of fuel injection, i still had a carb and kicked ass with it. But once it started to fuck up. i was like screw u. It put sooo much strain on my motor and i cant even say how much. but with the tunability of the efi these days, there is no limit of what we could do with them.

PS. This thread does not belong in the performance section as mentioned. its in general or offtopic. Nothing useful about performance in this thread thats why.

Both have potential for lotz more HP. I perfer Carb though, as FI has lotz more electrical crap to go wrong. I've driven both & still revert back to good old carb as, for me it's easier to tune it than sit there & diagnose a FI system.

i likie my carb, but with the emissions regs here i cant get the horse numbers i really want, so unless this recent talk in MO gets really serious and they repeal the emissions testing, i am gunna have to swap to EFI... but i would love to keep the carb for the effect of beating newer cars with the carburator!

    ...so do electrical problems tho

i personally like to know that the problem is physical (ie not in a computer) that way i can find it and fix it, thats kinda why i like working on older cars more than new ones, i like when there are more hoses than wires...

Yeah but we are talking about Honda's here. it's been 16 years without a single Computer or EFI problem can you say the same about your carb ?. Any other car and I will have to agree with you but since this is a Honda and all ..
