    Pistons???

OK, I seen a few other threads talking about piston sizes and wrist pin sizes and all, but I found that since SEAN was saying that our cars have a unique size of 82.5MM, what about the Jetta piston, will it work??? Its from a 93-99 Golf III/Jetta III 2.0L 16V.

Bore 82.5MM 3.248 IN, STD oversize, 3.654 stroke, 6.260 rod length, 1.213 comp height, 30cc head, 9.6:1 comp ratio, -19.3 dome volume, 252 gram weight, and the foot notes state it accepts nitrous.

THis company also stated that if we don't list a piston, they can make it. SO if anything we could get a good set of pistons made by them.

we need forged pistons... stock vws ones arent, so if youre gonna go custom why not go JE/ARIAS/DIAMOND for forged pistons/rings. Also you need WAY more info than that... wrist pin size/location

i think if you call diamond they have the plans for our pistons. they can make you a set of forged pistons, the question is since you have carb, why would you want forged pistons?

maybe he has future plan, like lots of spray, of EFI swap then turbo. Who cares it's his money and it is a good mod.
