Anyone bought any B20A parts lately?

The link for the "good" B20A parts supplier (http://210.150.108.106/~spiosk/parts/e-info.htm) is not working anymore. I am finally prepping to install my B20A and I want to put on a new timing belt. Has anyone ordered parts lately and could provide their contact info? I would greatly appreciate it.

Yeah, I have been using that too. I am going to get the Integra throw out bearing and the B20A3 water pump, but unfortunately, I don't think anyone has found a good cross reference for the timing belt. I might also buy a head gasket and oil pan gasket just to keep on the shelf.

You can find the basic part numbers also here so you can use this for pricing in Japan Yen and part numbers and just email them when you are ready to order. Email [email protected] and make sure to provide your shipping info also. Please dont bother them if your not going to buy and you MUST give them part numbers for pricing. I dont want to mess things up with this company because they are hard to come by. Typically they say orders take about a week unfortunately mine was a $2100 order so mine will take longer and should actually be in any day now. They take International Postal Money Orders and i think you can fax credit card info if you want to. http://www.south.ne.jp/~spiosk/parts/e-info.htm and here is the website but in Japanese http://www.south.ne.jp/~spiosk/top.html.

Sorry that was so long I just wanted to give all the info in one shot and all the current pricing is there and just watch out for the quantity the price for one in Yen is on the left. I ordered a lot all in one shot so i have everything i need to avoid paying the high shipping rate. Unfortunately for you guys i think the minimum is $150 shipping so it may not be worth it unless your willing to pay it. But im keeping my B20A all JDM so you can defitatly cut out a lot of this stuff and buy only the oil pump and a few other misc things that i know are not available on U.S. models.

Maybe you should consider swapping to USDM parts for that. You can do what Yasu did with B16A cam gears, B20A5 water pump and lower timing gear, and i think he used a maxima timing belt. There are other places to order from but they take longer and charge more for the parts themselves. There are places in califonia i looked up before but the parts were a lot higher and most ship by boat which takes a while. I dont know what to say because I knew going into the B20A that you would need some parts from Japan so i expected shipping to be high although I didnt think they would have a minimum like that. This is the small price you pay for rare hard to get parts and im just happy to have a company in Japan that can ship fast if I ever need a part fast.

I just wanted to follow up on this with my recent findings. There was apparently some confusion on the whole "minimum shipping" deal, because I requested a quote from the SPI folks in Japan for a timing belt and oil pan gasket and was quoted about $73, including shipping. That came out to $20ish for shipping, which seems reasonable.

I faxed my order today and received confirmation that the order was placed. So bottom line - these guys are a good source for B20A parts.

Hmm i was working with a bunch of people at Spi so maybe someone was not sure. I may even still have the email that he clearly states a minimum shipping because i specifically asked about a smaller order in the future. Maybe he just wanted it all done in one shot. But anyway that is good news for you guys and me in the future. The company has been great so far my order shipped from Osaka saturday and was leaving JFK sunday for delivery so i should see it any time now.

Anyone happen to know the part number for the Transmission mainshaft(input shaft) seal? I am putting my tranny back together and I figured I should try and replace this.

    Thanks,

And to confirm my order i got it all today and it took about a week to get it after they got all the parts on backorder. So this is a trust worth company as i spend over 2k with them and everything came ok.

Im just happy they are relatively fast to get if the parts are in stock. I do wish the packing was better because my head gaskets barely escaped the box w/o damage because they were against the side of the box. But they only packed it with news paper and the box got pretty beat up on its trip which dont surprise me at all.

Oh and just to let you guys know the head gasket set 061A1-PH3-J01 comes with all the gaskets for the entire head from valve seals, exh man, intake man, TB, all the timing cover seals, and a ton of misc o-rings.

So I notice that big bearing in one picture. Am I correct in assuming that is a transmission bearing? Did you replace all the bearings? How about the input shaft seal?

I got all the bearings and seals to replace. However i just looked at the tranny and there are 6 bearings total 2 on the diff which i have and and 4 for the others. So im short 2 bearings but they were all ok i mainly wanted new ones for my quaife LSD.

So I don't mean to pester you, but do you happen to know the p/n on the input shaft seal? I have the 2 axle seals, but I can't find a cross reference on the input shaft seal and I am hesitant to pull it out and measure it (and destroy it) until I know I can get a replacement. I could not find a part in that list you provided above that matches the input shaft deal.

    Thanks,
    Gregg
