yeah, but those things create so much turbulence it's not funny... you want smooth airflow, not a wall for air to run straight into

it's good if you remove the plexi glass sheild, and you can further the ram effect by making a tapered rectangular shroud directing air to the filter

...you can always install it sideways...no wall...and still getting pretty cold air.

you guys are serious?? IMO that thing is for the ricers who think they're bad ass with an 'intercooler'. A custom CAI would be a much better idea.

Just because it looks cool doesn't mean it's going to be efective!

I think if some put the time into making it fit then I would give them props on it. I think it would be better to have a hoodscoop or a custom cai. I had a friend that had an AROSPEED front mount intake and it looked nice but I don't think it was as effective as a regular cai.

i've seen that thing before (the look of a custom intercooler at a fraction of the cost) and i rate its effectiveness up there with the conical air filter that's supposed to look like a turbo blow-off valve.
it may have some benefit, but not as much as one designed specifically for that application. it is without a doubt rice.

Of course I'm lazy. If I wanted to work on my car I'd have gotten a DSM

how will the air ram into the wall and make a 90 degree into the pipes?!

As far as looks, i think it isn't really that great of a look. The thing isnt even silver to imitate an intercooler. I would like to put rice points for this one.

"To each man his own" for me its a no.
