    Question Custom Headlight Conversion

Alright, heres one for ya. I'm looking to get my car ready for (and dont laugh or be scepticle) Hot Import Nights during next years 2003 tour. I'm going to be getting some of my final body mods done in the next few months like extended wheel wells, Z3s, and get my body kit molded flush to the car, etc... I was also considering doing some sort of headlight conversion in the process, so I want to get some trick lights that have never been done before on a 3rd gen. Preferably not some off the wall weird shaped ones that will make my car look like a freaky disaster or some really awkward conversion.

So I was wondering what everyone thought would look the best on a 3rd gen, not to mention what would be the best fitting, etc... (however i love the classic flip up style light, I want to get as custom as I can seeing as how im aiming at a custom show car). And please, before anyone says it, I know I should just go w/ what I think looks best, but before I do I want everyone's input on the matter.

talk to the guy at streetweapon.com, back in the day 3 years ago there was talk of getting together a street weapon body kit, however no on had the money, while discussing construction of the kit, we discussed a fixed headlight conversion similar to those found for mr2's. See what that duude at streetweapon can do.
Personally i am not fond of conversions, but see if you can fabricate a low profile headlight kit similar to the brainstorm kit for miata's. Or just bite the bullet and get h4 conversions, autodynamic.com has a new euro blue lens
    either way, best of luck.

Flip your headlights down... you see that 2-3" tall strip of trim on the light? I think a fixed light conversion that shines through that slit would be sweet.

Hey Twisted, how about posting a pic of your car? Maybe we could get better ideas by seeing your body kit and stuff to see what flows with the car.

you g2g with something thats kool but kinda blocky to keep with the car, drmunkys dosent really do much for me cuz it looks too stock... i think if any1s goin to do a custom headlight conver sion you have GOT to do a grille conversion too, maybe an altezza grille or a newer civic or newer accord, maybe some s14 headlights or skylines of any year

Man you could pull something like that off.....it would take a hell of a lot less modifying than putting on a different cars headlights.

I was actually considering getting Skyline lights put on before I even posted this, but I really don't know about the whole front end conversion.....I suppose it could look good, i'll have to look around. I would go w/ the sleepy accord lights but I too have to admit that I think it is too stock looking. Anyway, i'll just have to look at some of the skyline lights and see how difficult it would really be, especially w/ a grill conversion.....
