Armrest color

I just got an armrest for my car and I love how much more comfortable it is. However, the color of the plastic is wrong. The interior of my car is the dark maroon color. Anyone know how to paint it and how I can get a close color match so the armrest matches the rest of my interior?

paint your interior black, about all you can do is paint

i have the same setup.. maroon interior with tan armrest, i painted mine black, it matches pretty well, i used krylon fusion gloss black on mine, I'll get some pics up when my wife gets home from Michigan with the car.

i used Krylon fusion to paint mine black, just follow the instructions and dont cut corners, and give it the full time to dry and set...it will look nice
