Just got some new tires...... Falken Azenis

Here are some new tires I just purchased at the Carlisle Custom Compact Car Jam right outside Harrisburg yesterday. Falken Azenis Sport 205/50/15 V Speed Rated.

Let me know what yall think. They are going on the Focus today. I have some before pics, I 'll have after pics tomorrow.

These are the new M3 Mirrors I got about 2 weeks ago.

Let me know what ya'll think.......

    Thanks for the comments.

They should be sticky as hell, but not too durable. Many of the serious autocrossers out here swap these on to their cars before their runs since the wear rating barely places them in the street tire classes.

I'm gonna keep them on during the summer and fall once winter hits I'm gonna swap to some skinnies like some 185s. They are a low tire tread but I dont drive alot maybe 5-7k a year. They should be good for at least 2 seasons that I have them on, a total of maybe 16 months outta 2 years.

good choice. I had looked into those when I was upgrading the setup on the hatch. Unfortunately i got my setup as a package and they didn't offer any Falken tires at all

Azenis are definitely a lot stickier than many other tires. i was debating on whether to use these or Falken Ziex 512s. For the Price Both were near the same, and it came down to durablility vs grip. Since I Commute with my 3gee, i decided to get 512. I must say, Ziex 512s suprised me on the amount of grip they have. Azenis is about 3 times the about of grip my 512s have but....maybe 5times less durable.

Good choice on tires since you do change your tires alot. Falken Azenis are the best bang fo buck if you are looking for grip. I hope you have fun with it. Maybe autocross with some other tires and then put on the Azenis for comparision.

The 512's are a great street tire and do good in different bad weather situations. The Azenis too are a great street tire, but have fun in the wet!

Actually they handle very well in wet conditions. I was rather surprised. Despite the wider tire and more area of the tread itself the tires handled like wet performance tires.

Keep us posted on how long before your tires die. Treadwear of 200 shouldn't last too long. ^^

Yummy nice meats, i drive on those alot, The grip is amazing. My friend and i auto cross his 240sx with them. Good bang for the bucks, also have been hearing that nitto r2 are also some very nice sticky compound tires. I am getting either Azenis, the R2s or Yokohama A032R or A048R for my 300ZX.
