why are you asking this question, you have them don't you?
Alex.
Yes and I paid $299, not $130, so I'd better be able to justify the purchase. I got a noticable improvement in power. I do not have any head work and I have the stock cam. And I opened up a portion of the powerband that I so desperately wanted opened,
5000rpm to redline. And I lost a heady(sorry) amount of weight in the front when I replaced the stock manifold, so I really got 2 benefits, more power and less weight at the very front of the car, right were I want the most weight removed.

Headers are well worth the money. Probably the best performance mod you can do that is affordable. Major increase in speed, sound, etc. Like they say, it's the biggest bang for your buck. Gives your around 10-15 HP increase.
It's ok accordsei is new to this game.![]()
do you have DC or pacesetter hearders? in purchasing headers is if a "you get what you pay for" situation?
Could you re-word that in a different way? I'd don't understand what your trying to say and I'd like to understand.Originally posted by 89cordlx

I think he's wondering if he could heard cows if he picked up some headers.....I can answer this. From what I have heard the cows really respond to them, they will come up to your car and moo also, and when you give it some gas it reminds them of mommy. So if heardin' some cows is what you are after, go for it man!

hehe allright, I am horribly at typing lately. when purchasing a set of headers is it one of those you get what you pay for situations? Like how Pacesetter are cheaper then DC.
I thought so.
1. I wanted a flex section, not some kind of joint
2. I didn't want to screw with removing paint and hope the new ceraramic paint I replaced it with, would stick.
3. I did not want to have to grind a notch in the crossmember that so many members say the pacesetter makes noise on.
4.* Worth is not to worry that I would be yet another person that
has reason to say pacesetters have horrible quality.
*I do think their are a fair number of people running pacesetter headers that are happy with the quality.

Yea if you can find dc hearders there worth the extra money. the flex pipe and they fit right in no alterations exept the change form one o2 sensor to two.
hmm and you thought the reverse polarity of the sun made you loose to a 3rd gen accord
Just get an extra dead o2 sensor if you need to plug one hole also I love my pacesetters as for rust I see some on the downpipe but I will be getting ceramic later. Also their headers are much better than their catbacks but their high flow cats are nice.
Headers are a great investment....since I put them on, my car really pulls well, especially in the high HPM area.
