What is the correct nominal voltage for the EGR lift sensor from the ECU?
I need this info for an 89 LXi.
Currently there is a .2 volt signal witch seems low. I need to know what the correct voltage is before my buddy goes out and gets a new ECU.

according to my shop manual (1987 version)
the voltage between RED (+) terminal and GREEN (-) terminal should be about 5v.
the voltage between WHITE (+) terminal and GREEN (-) terminal should be about 1v.
and that is all they give you.
hope that helps.
Alex.
EGR lift sensor is located on the intake manifold, on the passenger side. It should have a small wiring harness and a vacuum line that goes to the emissions blackbox.Originally Posted by hazeleyedbandit2
