I say wait for it and get yourself a B20A. I guarentee you can get a B20A car for less than that overseees.

Good luck in the Army, I hear that there are 2 wars going on right now.

I think military guys get pretty good deals as far as importing/exporting cars. If you're dead set on a 3gee definitely just wait it out and get your self one over there, but don't forget there are a TON of equally bad ass cars that we can't get over there so be sure and know your options.

If you are stationed overseas the government will pay to have ONE vehicle shipped back. You must be overseas for 140 consecutive days. A few things to keep in mind though. There are ALOT nicer cars to import than 3rd gen accords. Most importantly the reason why most people don't import, myself included, is because it is a MAJOR pain in the ass. Even most of the military pamphlets suggest you sell the vehicle therte rather than go through the hassel of importing

I would suggest on your free time find the motor or parts that you want and ship it back in pieces with all the components you want and rebuild it here with a 3G body. Hey and good luck with the Army man keep your head down.

Man maybe i should join the army, just for the benefits of being able to ship cars back to the US (like an aerodeck.... ahem)

There is that one small problem that when i join the army, there is a strong chance that I would be killed. Is it worth it?
Thinking about getting a new 3g...

Of course it's worth it. Who cares if you die? You have an aerodeck when you get back. :P

yah...they can carry your dead body to back in the aero dude! lol...actually there are lots of people in the army and we've had like wat round 200 deaths since the war on iraq? or is it 400...eitherway the chances of getting killes is a tinny percentage...i wouldn't know exactly, but if i knew how many people are actually in the army and i gat some exact percentage...ok so now i think i'm talkin to myself..and yadiyadiya bla bla bla...i need a beer.
edit: i can't type for shit.

hahahahah, if you think that army will let you ship any car YOU ARE DEAD WRONG. there is a list of cars you can ship back to the US. since most cars in europe don't comply with US safety regulations, they are out of the questions of being shipped back here. a friend of mine was stationed in germany, and i was trying to get aerodeck through him, but when he checked with his high commanders they said that there is no way he can import car that is not up to US safety and emission standarts. so he end up shipping his Jeep Wrangler back here.

what if one were to convert it to fit the standards?
if i was in europe i'd ship a Euro R though.

Of course I'm lazy. If I wanted to work on my car I'd have gotten a DSM

the way my firriend told me, US army won't ship the car unless it is on the US car list. I don't know what kind list that is.
but i did ask him what if you put catalitic converter and some other crap to pass emissions, and he told me that if it is not offered in the US you can't bring it,
