I was around before the 3geez forum even started, way back when the forum was on Automotive forums.com. I have gave many advice of motors and bodywork, and I have to say the reason I never commited to posting here or showing you the progress is cause of many of the people on this board. Some are still cool, but most of the posters are assholes. I have been on many of forums and this one by far has to be the worst in talking trash. Every other forum I go to will post questions and fair comments but not rude ones. If you don't like the lights it would be fair to say.....that was alotta work, congrats, but its not the look i'm going for cause I appreciate the bodylines of the factory model. That would please me, however comments like......alotta work went into that to make it look odd, loose the wing....wtf does that have to do with a pic showing taillights.....if the post was labeled, new high rise wing pics, then that would be fair as well. Look, I'm going to stop ranting cause it doesn't really matter what I type people will trash on me and my ride. So here's a good pic I took a few hours ago for the people who want to see the taillights. The trunk does not open anymore cause this is not a grocery getter anymore. It is a strict race setup that will run high 8's, low 9's depending on if I spray.

listen bro, the only one here trashing your car is you, seem like your trying to start the flame..

but i will give u props on the bodywork on that car, it looks good but not my style, i know for a fact that body work takes amazing skill and time so props for that..

Ummmmm...Personally thats not my style, I think newer prelude tails or skyline r34 taillights would have looked better on a boxie rear ended car, but if you like it thats what counts, but the biggest question I have is how do you get into the trunk, Open the back seat???

But when you ask for what people think your goona get negative responces so don't get all mad when someone says something you don't like...

I like it. The taillights remind me of the new Mazda 6 lights, which are pretty cool. Its unique and and I know you put a lot of hard work into it. Plus you will distinguish yourself from everyone else. Hey why not try something different? Nobody cares about our cars enough to provide aftermarket support anyway. I give it 2 thumbs up.

Hey my bad for hurting your feelings but listen this is a board, trash talk will ALWAYS be around and it can't be helped. You know that certain styles are going to provoke talk but..you did ask what we thought about it. I thought it was a lot of work to make it look odd. The boxy style of the car IMO doesnt flow with the round lights of the MKIV supra taillights. It gives the rear an interesting stance that I think isn't really nice.

I think Honda spent so much time making the design of the stock accord, why try and change it? My 2 cents.

Yeah, your right, since honda spent so much time making the design of stock Accord, why change it? Maybe its because they made it to appeal to the masses and they had to strike a medium to appeal to a wide audience. They made the engine so powerful and the body so sleek I don't know why anybody puts bodykits, euros, wheels, or power adders to their rides.

That's much better with decent pics to better show off your hard work!
Looks great to me! Personally I'm not a big fan of giant wings though....But the rest of the car loks right on!

i think i like the supra tails. im a fan of em. although the tail light housing would look better if it had square corners. im going to be working on making some supra style tails for my 3gee. clear tails were easy compared to fully fabricating new tail lights inside of whats left of the original shell. thats how im making the supra tails for my car.

ah oops what i ment to say was the taillights look sick dude you clearly have mad talent but i have to say the bumper and wing killed it for me as well 3gees look way to good dropped on some rims. with no body kit pimped out paint and some engine work your good to go i think it makes a better show car then a racecar i know i know just bann me now. but sieriously man i admire the fact that you love your 3gee so much you were motivated to dress it down with somthing you created with your own imagination mad props.

I am just wondering now... do you plan to run 8's or 9's on a N/A A20, with nitrous?

i'm talking about 8's or 9's at the local 1/8 mile strip. We have no quarter mile strip within 50 miles. Sorry for the confusion. I can and will back up my claims if needed with time slips when I go this weekend. It can be daily driven but I usually drive my bagged 94 dakota to work.
