    4g tails on 3g

i used the search feature and came up with nothing, so i was wondering if the 4g tailight will work on a 3g. how much customization would i need, and if anyone here at this forum ever do this? thanks

If i can remember right. On the sedans along, the 4g light height is about right, but the end curve and angle is a bit smaller on the 4g compared to the 3g. The biggest part is the trunk lid part. The mod looks awsome, but IMO, for all the money and pain into putting one in a 3g is just not worth it, unless ur gonna do it or ur buddy or someone u know or its gonna be real cheap. So yeah, it does take some time to do, but if u can pull it off, u might like it. Its a love it or hate it mod and i like it.

Why 4G tails? Why not R32 Skyline tails to live up to the Nismo-hood?

Elijah and smufguy are both correct. It has been done at least once (I forgot the guy who did it on his sedan), but I can tell you that it'll take time and money. Time may not be an issue for you cuz you might have someone working on it for you, but it's money and in the end you will be bashed on for it and you will also be given props for it. Good luck.

screw 4th gen accord tails. if your going to have to do all that work to make them fit, you might as well get something that looks a little cooler than that! i liked some skyline tails i saw on a 3gee coupe once. dont remember who posted the pix, but it was cool. dont plan on tails from a different car unless your wanting to spend some money on body work.

I don't see the point, 4th Gen tails are so similar to 3rd Gen. Unless you just want more options for those style lights. Just paint them red.

i dont see a purpose of modded tail lights when yor not going to go fast enough for anyone to see them. Not saying your like this but IMO it just a waste of time and money that could be better spent on other things.

i would like to eventually put my car into a car show.

i've seen the R32 tailights on a 3g, its a lot better than ugly stock ones. i might just do that, instead of 4g tailights.

edit: oops, i forgot to ask, where can i get the r32 tailights??

hey, the 3gee coupe with skyline tails had the R33's tails. also i belive it had the prelude front head lights, it was white. i have the pix of it around here somewhere, but they are still here on 3geez somewhere too. i think the R33 tails look better than the R32. belive me, they would flow better with the rear end.

you should just shave the tails all together and just hire 4 midgets to sit in the back seat with colored flashlights pointing out of the back window... now THAT would be impressive
