yeah well, since i got a new car, i have decided to become a master mechaninc, and try to attempt to do a tranny swap on my 89 accord. its a auto, and the current tranny is shot. i will have some of my friends help me, and we are gonna go looking for a new tranny soon, and while the tranny is out, we will be replacing all the coolant hoses, all the external pumps and such. k now for my question is there like a tranny swap how to? how much more work would it be to do a 5 speed swap? and finally while the engine and tranny are out, is there anything else i shoudl replace?
