    Thumbs up Tune Up + Fixed Rack/Pinion + Re-Alignment = Thumbs Up

Well I took the Accord into the shop today to get a Tune Up and fix my Rack and Pinion. Can't wait to get it back. This is the first tune up for the car. My question is will I feel that the car has gotten a tune up once I get it back? After I get these 2 things, I get a re-alignment. And then my car will be 100% problem free. Now that = Thumbs Up

That's got to be the cleanest living DX I've ever seen.

Wow, that's absolutely amazing-that car does not look like it's 20 years old!

Oh yeah, sorry for the post again, but does anyone know in detail what they exactly do during a tune up other than the spark plugs (which I told them not too since I just put in the NGK V-Power's a couple months ago)?

With the tune up you will definitely notice a difference if it has been a while. It will sound different and get better gas mileage. With a tune up comes setting the timing, adjusting the carburetor and checking or replacing the cap, rotor, wires, gas filter, PCV valve and other replaceable maintenance items. Oh yeah probably an oil change and air filter.

An alignment is probaby going to make you reaaaaaaaaal happy if they do it right. By the way, if they don't set your steering wheel perfectly straight, take it back until it is. It's one of my pet peeves. Last time I had it done I took it in 3 times and they finally gave my money back. Some people just don't know what they are doing.

Haha. Nice. I hope to god they don't change my air filter. I have my K&N in there...

They really replace the spark plug wires and fuel filters?? If so, god, here comes my milage back, lol.

Well if they're not stupid they won't change that air filter, haha. If they do, demand for it back

By the way, all the items I mentioned are done in a major tune up... which is what I expect you're getting... right?

Yeah. Nothing minor here. This is a Honda/Acura specialist shop only. So all parts are OEM and what not, which I'm glad. I'm pretty sure he'll hold off on the air filter though, I have a warning on there about it, so I should be covered. I'll probably end up finding out today or early tomorrow. Can't wait though.
