    Brake Horse Power=BHP
From another site: The measure of an engine's horsepower without the loss in power caused by the inefficiencies in the accessories and drivetrain.

    from http://www.carcentral.net/content/glossary/b.php

WHP: Wheel Horsepower...power rated at the wheels, calculated on a dyno.

Brake Horsepower is what you get when you put the engine on an Engine Dyno. It's how cars used to be rated back before the 80s, possibly mid-70s.
