Ok go out and get a TEC distributor off a prelude and an Accel or MSD Coil.
    Trust me on this one.

hmmm, i have a hitachi from the prelude..... running a stock coil for now, though... i didn't notice a difference, but the old one was pretty shitty, and what i saw was more of a "repair" difference than a performance mod

I installed the coil a few months ago and it smoothed out my idle and it gave it a little more kick.

I just installed the dizzy and holy crap, the idle is even better. Plus there is more vacum advance at higher RPMs, meaning more power from 4 grand to redline.

it might have a lighter resistance spring in the vacuum advance diaphragm cause maybe the sidedrafts pulled less vacuum then a manifold with longer runners and a plenum.

I can take a pic tomorrow.
Its off an 84-87 Prelude, they have the same engines.
You want the one off the A18 with duel sidedraft carbureators.
I don't think the Si one will work, it has PGMFI.
