    Question cuttin the cat....

    meow
    uhh..

it looks like im just gonna have to cut the cat off on the outside of both of the flanges cause they are rusted on beyond belief, is there any way to buy new flanges in clamp em on to the pipes so i can bolt in a new cat or am i gonan just have to go cat less and put a ghetto homemade straight pipe on there?

cool yeah, im not getting bigger pipes but i know i could get an adaptor to go from stock accord size pipe (now wtf is that ?) to the larger size to the cat and then back down to the smaller size after the cat, that would be a lot of places to leak tho! i have heard the the ebay "cat" isnt really a cat at all tho its just a cherry bomb type thing isnt it?

stock piping on the accord is like 1 3/4" or 2"....the cats on ebay are actually catalytic converters that are practically straight through piping in the shape of a cat...in a stock cat there is stuff like screen and mesh crap that regulates flow, with a straight through cat it is just like piping with nothing in there
