How hard is it to replace the bearings in the a20 block? I'm going to be doing that this weekend (me and k-roy) so what am I in for?

I saw a friend do it....doesn't look too hard, just make sure you put everything back together right.

My plans are to jack it up on jackstands, pull the oil pan and have at it. Never done it with the engine in the car but it sounds like fun. My old neighbor said thats what he did for a knock on his old car so I guess its worth a shot. I doubt that engine has more than 1,000 miles left in it so if we fuck it up its not the end of the world, A20s are dirt cheap round here.

He sold the Accord for $300 and purchased a 87 Prelude Si for $250.
Overall the Lude is in better shape, minus the knock in the bottom end.

i did it on mine with the engine in. the hardest thing was dealing with the oil pan gasket and hose that connects to the oil pan.

just keep it clean clean clean.

one of my crank journals(sp?) is hella worn so it was all for nothin'. damn

    luckly i have a spare.
