2000 impreza front bumper concept

Just curious what you think about this idea... the dimentions look pretty close from what ive read, and i have chopped afew pics... you can buy replacement bumpers from subaru for like 95$ if the dimentions look promising
if anyone has one and wants to dimention it compared to their 3g, i would be very interested!


i know it will take molding, but if i can achieve success like that picture, i would be down for sure

*EDIT* more reasons for liking it, the bumper lights are already in the right spot, and the width of the impreza is like less than half an inch wider than the 3gee, but im not sure what that means exactly for the bumpers...

have you thought about hte bumpers from the 93 BMW 5 series...i was thinkin that if it could fit, it would give the 3g a trueno type bumper..but that one is clean

That looks pretty close to the way our bumpers look Alex, I think it could work, would look better painted all one color.

i was looking for bodykit ideas, but i dont want anything too extreme looking, just something that would make the front standout alittle more and bring down alittle... i walk by 2 impreza wagons when i walk to work (2 blocks away) and the bumper kinda grew on me, if i had the money this year i would do it, but i think itll have to wait till after the tranny swap...
i just figured id get some more opinions from some of you guys

hah no STi for me, im not that cool, the bumper would be the only kitting, and then i would lower the car to complement it, but that all takes $$$$ and im spending it all on the 5speed swap this year, maybe next summer unless i can pick one up at teh junkyard for really cheap

if the standard Impreza bumper fits then what's stopping you from using a 2.5RS bumper instead?

i just like the impreza bumper more, the big foglights arent really my style... but i know what ur saying, also, if if fits well we could use aftermarket bodykits from the 2.5's and imprezas...
