    Talking colder intake idea

Hi guys i came up with an idea for colder intake what if instead of having the regular air intake on the firewall or facing the front of the car we run a 2" diameter hose (air line ) from inside the passanger or driver side to the intake. The air inside the car is colder than the out side air (at lease where i live [Phoenix, AZ] cuse the a/c is always on) therefore more dense
I don't know is just an idea i have you guys decide.

If you are running you're AC then you are going to cancel out any gains you may get anyways. The Parasitic Drag off a running compressor will rob more HP then the air temp

If you don't need AC then the outside air should be the same temperature as the inside..........correct?

If not warmer due to body heat and lack of airflow.

The idea behind CAI is really air flow, not temperature. Sure cold air is more dense and is optimal, just figure the car will run better in colder weather w/o the A/C on. I really don't think getting air from the cabin will work...just because you need air flow. How are you going to get air to flow into the intake? get a compressor in the back seat?

I stuck my filter inside the car... I punched a big hole in my firewall... it was way too loud to drive around, the intake made a lot of noise. I used 3" BTW it's much better... 2" is too small go with at least 2.5"

As you can see in the pic I found a use for that metal strip that is glued on to the roof of the car... if you never removed the headliner you may not know what I'm talking about.
But yeah right now thats all that is keeping a big draft from entering the car thru the firewall when I drive.
